Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to every ride, event and activity organised by One Ride One India (“OROI”, “we”, “us”). By registering for or joining an OROI ride, you agree to these terms, our ride rules, our Cancellation & Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy.

  • Every rider must carry a valid driving licence, the bike’s RC, insurance and PUC, and a government photo ID (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Passport or Driving Licence) for check-in and on the road.
  • Riders must be 18 or older and hold a valid licence for the motorcycle they ride.
  • Unless a ride says otherwise, riders bring their own motorcycle and riding gear, and pay their own fuel, tolls, lunches and personal expenses.
  • Your registration is confirmed only once your payment is received and the OROI team confirms your seat.
  • Itineraries, timings, stays and routes may change because of weather, road conditions, permits or safety reasons. The ride captain’s decision on the road is final.
  • Some rides may have their own specific terms. These will be shared with you at the time of registration.
  • OROI may update these terms at any time. The version on this page applies to all registrations made after it is published.

Circumstances beyond our control

We cannot pay compensation, refund expenses or accept responsibility if we have to change, shorten or cancel a ride because of events we could not foresee or avoid even with reasonable care. These include, but are not limited to, extreme weather, landslides, floods, road closures, natural disasters, epidemics, strikes, civil unrest, government orders, permit restrictions and war or terrorist activity. In such cases we will do our best to offer an alternative route, date or arrangement.

Your responsibility

We want every rider to have a safe and memorable ride, but you are responsible for your own actions and how they affect others.

  • You are solely responsible for how you ride and for the condition of your motorcycle. Make sure it is fully serviced and road-ready before the ride.
  • You must follow the instructions of the lead and sweep marshals at all times, keep the formation, and never overtake the lead rider.
  • Racing, stunts, zig-zag riding, rash or negligent riding are not allowed.
  • Riding under the influence of alcohol or any intoxicating substance is strictly prohibited. OROI accepts no liability for any injury, loss or damage resulting from impaired judgement due to alcohol or drugs.
  • Respect fellow riders, marshals, locals, temples, hotel staff and the environment. Harassment, abusive language or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
  • You are responsible for any damage you cause to hotel property, vehicles or other assets, and must report any damage immediately.

If the OROI team believes your behaviour puts you or others at risk, upsets other riders or staff, or breaks these terms or our ride rules, we may remove you from the ride without any refund or compensation, and you may not be allowed on future OROI rides.

Medical self-declaration

By joining a ride, you confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to ride long distances, including in hilly and high-altitude areas where applicable. You must tell us before the ride about any medical condition, allergy or medication that could affect your riding or your safety. Please consult a doctor before high-altitude rides. OROI carries a basic first-aid kit only and is not a medical service provider. In an emergency, we may arrange medical help on your behalf, and any medical or evacuation costs will be borne by you. We strongly recommend having personal accident and health insurance.

Payments, cancellations and refunds

Ride fees, payment deadlines, cancellations and refunds are covered by our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Please read it carefully before registering.

Liability declaration

Motorcycle riding involves risks, including accidents, injury, illness, loss or damage to property, and in rare cases death. By joining an OROI ride, you accept these risks voluntarily. OROI, its organisers, marshals and partners will not be liable for any accident, injury, illness, death, loss, theft or damage to you, your pillion, your motorcycle or your belongings during the ride, except where caused by our proven negligence. OROI is not responsible for the services of hotels, homestays or other third parties, although we choose them carefully.

You agree to release and hold harmless One Ride One India, its organisers, marshals and partners from any claims arising out of your participation in the ride.

Photos and videos

Photos and videos taken during rides may be used on OROI’s website and social media. If you prefer not to appear, please tell a marshal or message us. See our Privacy Policy for details.

If you have a complaint

If you have a problem during a ride, please tell the ride captain or the OROI team straight away so we can try to fix it on the spot. If it is not resolved, write to us within 15 days of the ride ending at admin@onerideoneindia.com and we will respond as soon as possible. Any disputes are subject to the laws of India and the jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi.
